Meeting Santa

This year my parents decided that it would be fun to have Santa make a visit to their home. Even though Santa was very busy getting ready for Christmas, he made time to stop by "The Sullivan's" house. Matt and I weren't sure how the baby would handle meeting Santa for the first time but we were excited to see his reaction. Our child wanted absolutely nothing to do with Santa or Mrs. Clause. But I was able to catch a couple shots of him with Santa. Even though he wasn't happy I was still able to get some great pictures!

Walking

Yes, its true you are reading correctly, our baby can walk...yikes! Matthew took his first steps on Thanksgiving. It was so great that all of our family(minus Chad, Lisa and baby Lucy) happened to be around for his first steps. Although he wasn't walking fully he was taking 8-10 steps at a time. From that day on he just kept getting more confident/better at walking and then became obsessed. He now wants nothing to do with crawling or being held. Walking is his preferred way of transportation. We just can't believe how independent our baby has become.

Catch Up!

Ok. I have been doing some serious blog slacking. With the holidays and all of the fun festivities it brings I honestly just haven't had much time to blog. So, if you are curious about what our family has been up to the past couple of months hold on and be patient because I am warning you all now we have a lot of pictures and exciting things that have happened!

Our little guy was non other then, you guessed it MICKEY! He was the cutest Mickey Mouse I have ever seen. It was just such an exciting day and we can't wait for the many more Halloween's to come.

Mickey Mouse

Our child has an obsession with Mickey Mouse. Whenever he is cranky or tired he enjoys watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...too funny. I am pretty sure he is the only baby to love tv this much!!!
While I was getting ready for work the other morning he decided to lay down and cover himself up and watch some Mickey, adorable!!!

Let the festivities begin!

On October 29Th my sister will be the big 30! This being such a big birthday we have decided to celebrate it throughout the month of October. This past Sunday we decided to start the celebration off by going to a Broncos vs. Jets game. Currently my sisters new obsession is Mark Sanchez a.k.a Dirty Sanchez. Kristi believes he is the newest thing since sliced bread, which I have to admit he is pretty good looking! We had such an amazing time. The weather was perfect and the Jets won. What more could we have asked for. Thank you Kristi for asking Matt and I to join you at your 30Th birthday kick off festivity!!! Can't wait until the next festivity:-) Matt and I at the game

The pictures of Kristi, Sarah and I are on Kristi's camera. Pictures to follow later, sorry!

Aquarium

This past weekend we had so much fun. Matt and I decided that we should head up to Denver to the Aquarium. We had heard from several people that is was pretty awesome so, we decided to see for ourselves. Wow, it was amazing. The baby was fascinated by the whole thing, especially the jelly fish. He would point to one and follow it as it moved about its way. Matt and I also got to experience feeding the sting rays. I made Matt go first because I was a little scared but it was a very cool experience. Unfortunately my camera died a couple pictures in but we plan on going back very soon!
