Big weekend

Saturday we decided it was time to upgrade our baby into a bigger, comfier and cooler looking car seat. Honestly, I am ecstatic about the upgrade. No longer do I nor Matt have to break our backs carrying his infant seat(hallelujah)! Plus the past couple of months he has hated getting into his carrier but I think now that he has room to move and look around he will be a much happier baby.

Also, while at Babies R Us we came across a swing for us to attach top his swing set outside. We put him in it as soon as we put it up and he absolutely loved it. He was laughing, screaming and kicking with pure excitement. I just can't believe that he is old enough to have all these cool things now. It has been so much fun for Matt and I get to experience all of these new things he is learning how to do! We truly are blessed.
Sunday we finished our great weekend off with a Rockies game. It was so much fun. The weather was perfect and our seats were great. The only thing that could have made the game better was for the Rockies to win. But other than that is was an awesome game with great company. Our baby did so awesome and looked so cute in his Rockies gear.

to walk! Lately our little guy has been quit adventurous. He just loves to pull himself up on basically everything and anything. Yesterday, while I was in the shower he decided to pull himself up and start banging on the glass around my shower, he just wanted to make sure I new he was there (ha ha)!!! He has just been such a joy to watch grow and learn all kinds of new things. Matt and I are just enjoying every minute of our little munchkin. Here are some photos of this mornings adventure.

I'm a big boy!

Our little guy is now a "Big Boy". Just this past week he has tried drinking from a sippy cup, eating a popsickle and even enjoyed a cookie. I just can't believe that he is already old enough for all of this. Where has the time gone. I just want him to be my baby FOREVER!

5 months

Matthew turned 5 months on the 18th of June. I just can't believe that he is already 5 months. I just don't understand why being pregnant feels like it will never end and once your baby arrives into this world time goes by way too fast. Time, can you please SLOW down? Matthew has brought absolute joy into our lives and every day gets better and better. Our little guy is the happiest baby I have ever seen. He wakes up smiling and goes to bed smiling. He really is just an absolute joy to have in our lives. I honeslty could not imagine our lives without him.

5 months:

*Rolls over(both ways)

*smiles constantly

*laughs so hard

*trys to crawl (we can scoot)

*eats baby food(sweet potatoes are his fav!)

*starting to teeth

*chews on everything

*LOVES his mommy and daddy

Exer-Saucer

Last week we went out and bought Matthew an exer-saucer. We weren't sure if he would like it because when testing them out at the store he didn't seem too interested. Much to our surprise he LOVES it! He is fascinated by the lights that flash and all the different things he could do. But most of all I think he likes it because he gets to use his legs while playing. He loves to be standing!

He likes how the lizard changes colors. He even pushes on him so he will light up over and over and over again(so fun for mommy and daddy to hear...on repeat)!

4 Months

Matthew turned 4 months on the 18th of May. I just can't believe that he has been a part of our life for 4 whole months now. He is just such an amazing baby. He has brought nothing but joy to our lives. Matthew is such a content happy baby all the time. He is always smiling and laughing at everyone. It is just so adorable watching him interact with you.

He loves to watch tv. He gives tv his full attention when on. So don't even try talking to him during his shows...seriously!

Matthew also loves to chow down on his hands. He just finds them fascinating. He chews on them constantly. I swear people its not because he is hungry. I really do feed my child!!!

Here are some things Matthew loves at 4 months:

• Books(especially the kind that pop out)

Here are some things not sure about yet:

• Baby food

• Rolling over(has to be convenient for him)

He now weighs a whopping 13 lbs 12 oz and is almost 25 inches long. He has grown a little more than 3 inches in two months. I am pretty sure he will be tall like his daddy.

Bumbo

A couple of weeks ago I bought Matthew a bumbo. I wasn't sure how much he would like it but I wanted to give it a try. And much to my suprise he loves it. It is so great because it not only helps him sit up but it helps with other things as well. I can just put him up on the counter with me while I cook and it is like he is helping. He is just so content as long as you are paying full attention to him or if he is in the mix. He is just to dang cute. Love this child!!!
